- Graduate of Freeman High School, where she competed for coach Maddison Unfred
- My competitive cheer team went undefeated our whole season and in the final competition won the Grand Champion
- Earned WIAA (Washington state) Athlete of the Week award during her senior year
- Honor Roll student
- Recognized by the NEA League for her grade point average as a sophomore, junior, and senior

- Interesting Notes: I’m related to Richie Valens, the famous singer; My competitive cheer team went undefeated our whole season, and I got the WIAA (Washington State) Athlete of the Week award
- Brush With Greatness: I was princess for the South East Spokane County Fair, and I graduated with my Associates Degree a week after graduating high school
