Francis Marion University graduate student pitcher and first baseman Jenna Walling has been named to the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division II All-America Team that was announced on Wednesday (May 27).

The Johns Island, S.C., native was a second-team selection as a pitcher/utility player.

Walling finished the 2026 season with a 27-8 pitching record with four saves, a 1.92 earned run average, and 207 strikeouts in 230.0 innings.  Opponents batted only .231 against her.  She leads Division II in complete games with a school-record 31 and made 43 pitching appearances – equaling the second most in program history.  At the place, she batted .305 with team-leading totals of nine home runs and 55 runs batted in. 

She concluded her career second on program's career wins list with an 84-18 mark, is the career leader in saves (8), and is third in both innings pitched (665.0) and strikeouts (527).  She is only the second Patriot hurler to register three 20-win seasons.

Walling previously earned first-team All-Region honors from both the NFCA and the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), while being named as the D2CCA's Pitcher of the Year for the Southeast Region.  She was also chosen as the Conference Carolinas' Pitcher of the Year and secured Tournament MVP honors for the second year in a row. She was twice named the Wilson/NFCA National Pitcher of the Week in 2026.

She helped lead the Patriots to a 47-13 record, equaling the second-most wins in program history.  FMU won its fourth consecutive conference tournament title and made its fifth straight NCAA Tournament appearance – and a second Super Regional appearance in as many years.  The Patriots were ranked eighth nationally in the most recent NFCA/GoRout Top 25 poll.

Walling is a product of First Baptist School and is part of the University's Masters of Business Administration program.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology (summa cum laude) in May 2025.
