Francis Marion University sophomore
Kyle Elliott has been named the winner of the Conference Carolinas 2025 Elite 26 Award resented by McGriff Insurance Services for the sport of men's cross country. The award was presented on Friday evening following the championship meet.
A native of Pamplico, S.C., Elliott owns a 3.951 grade point average as a mechanical engineering major.
In Friday's championship race, he placed 150th with a time of 39:31.22 over the 8,000-meter course.
He is part of the FMU Honors Program, is a member of Baptist Collegiate Ministries, and has been named to the FMU Swamp Fox Athletic-Academic Honor Roll and the Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll each of his first two semesters.
The Elite 26 Award honors Conference Carolinas student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade-point average at their respective championship site. The award is modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 Award.
Elliott is a product of Hannah-Pamplico High School.
