The effects of Hurricane Helene have forced several changes to the Francis Marion University athletic calendar.

The Patriot volleyball team was to have played at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, N.C., on Friday night, and at North Greenville University on Saturday afternoon, but both matches have been postponed to a date yet to be determined.

The FMU men's and women's cross country teams were to have run at the Winthrop University/Adidas Invitational Meet on Saturday morning, but that meet has been canceled.

The Patriot soccer teams will play as scheduled on Saturday, the women hosting Shaw University at 5 p.m. and the men playing at Conference Carolinas newcomer Shorter University at 1 pm.
