FLORENCE, SC – The Francis Marion University men's tennis team lost to sixth-ranked and undefeated Lander University 7-0, Saturday afternoon (March 20) in Peach Belt Conference tennis action.
 
The FMU Men (2-9, 0-4) will play at Columbus State University on Saturday (March 27) at 11 a.m.
 
The Patriot doubles duo of senior William Anth-Forsberg and freshman Adam Ernberg lost by a narrow 6-4 score at the No.2 position as the Bearcats won the doubles point.
 
All singles matches were decided in straight sets. Ernberg came the closest to winning a set, losing 7-5, 6-0 at the No.5 spot, while senior Mauricio Guerrero dropped a 6-4, 6-2 match at No.1.
