FLORENCE, SC – Visiting Lenoir-Rhyne University defeated the Francis Marion University men's tennis team 7-0, Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 17) in non-conference play at the Dr. Eddie Floyd/Florence Tennis Center.
 
FMU will host a pair of non-conference matches this weekend, both at the on-campus Kassab Courts.  The Patriots will entertain local-rival Coker College on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Barton College on Sunday at noon.
 
On Wednesday, the Bears claimed the doubles point with three hard-fought decisions.  FMU senior William Anth-Forsberg was the lone Patriot to win a set in singles action, dropping a 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 result at the No.1 position.
