Junior forward Kiana Adderton of the Francis Marion University Women's Basketball team has been named the McDonald's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of November 25-December 1, 2019.

Adderton registered her third career double-double to lead the Patriots (4-1) during their loss against the University of Mount Olive (67-59) on Saturday (Nov. 30) afternoon. Adderton scored 24 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in the game. She connected on 10-of-18 field goal attempts. The Myrtle Beach, S.C., native is second on the squad averaging 14.0 ppg and leads the team with 8.2 rpg.
After a break for final exams, FMU will travel to Belmont Abbey College on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at noon for a non-conference game, before starting conference play when the Patriots host the University of North Georgia on Dec. 19 at 5:30 p.m.
